Storyline:
So You Think You Can Dance is an American televised dance competition show that airs on Fox in the United States and is the flagship series of the international So You Think You Can Dance television franchise.

The series premiered on July 20, 2005 with over ten million viewers and ended the summer season as the top-rated show on television. SYTYCD was created by American Idol producers Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and is produced by 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions. The first season was hosted by current American news personality Lauren Sánchez. Since the second season, it has been hosted by former British children's television personality and one-time game show emcee Cat Deeley. During its second season, the program remained the No. 1 rated summer show but it has declined in ratings since.

The show features a tiered format wherein dancers from a variety of styles enter open auditions held in a number of major U.S. cities to showcase their unique styles and talents and, if allowed to move forward, then are put through additional rounds of auditions to test their ability to adapt to different styles. At the end of this process, a small number of dancers are chosen as finalists. These dancers move on to the competition's main phase, where they perform solo, duet, and group dance numbers in a variety of styles. They compete for the votes of the broadcast viewing audience which, combined with the input of a panel of judges, determines which dancers advance to the next stage from week to week. The number of finalists has varied as determined by a season's format, but has typically been 20 contestants.

America's favorite summer series, "So You Think You Can Dance", has kept viewers amazed and inspired as talented dancers skilled in everything from Hip Hop, Krumping and Popping to Salsa, Quickstep and Jive compete to be named America's Favorite Dancer. Hosted by Cat Deeley, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE traveled across the country to Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and Miami, in search of dancers who represent the best in America. Those who shine during auditions are given a ticket to Las Vegas for callbacks, where they work with top choreographers to learn and then be judged on multiple styles of dance.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is the Atlanta based spin-off of Love & Hip Hop. It premiered on June 18, 2012, on VH1 and chronicles the lives of several women who are involved with hip hop. The second season premiered on April 22, 2013, with new cast members: Atlanta DJ and radio personality Traci Steele plus DJ Babey Drew, Traci's ex and father of their son Little Drew.

VH1 is bringing a southern-fried tale of struggle, love and temptation to Atlanta, Georgia with an all new season of "Love & Hip Hop". "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" proves love, music and the game know no boundaries. As the newest installment in the successful "Love & Hip Hop" franchise, "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" will feature an all new cast with their eyes on the prize of fortune, fame and family. Among the main characters in this 10-episode series are Stevie J, a three-time Grammy Award-Winning producer who has worked with artists such as Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, Stevie's longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust, and a fiery up-and-coming Latina rapper named Joseline. There's no shortage of drama with this strong-willed trio. Rounding out the cast are the talented songbird K.Michelle, and Trinidadian R&B singer Karlie Redd. Atlanta is the new frontier in entertainment, the Dirty South, where the opportunity to make it big in the rap game is always one hustle away. Centered in the heart of the South, these fiery ladies and gentlemen aren't looking to lead the debutante life. With aspiring songbirds and rappers in the mix, the stakes are high as competition is fierce in both professional and personal arenas. Striving to leave their mark beyond the red clay of Georgia, hip hop's southern princes and princesses are allowing nothing to stand between them and making it big in the game.

Britain's Got Talent is a British television talent show competition which started in June 2007 and originated from the Got Talent franchise. The show is a Thames production distributed by FremantleMedia and is produced in association with Syco TV. The show is broadcast on ITV and its sister show Britain's Got More Talent is broadcast on ITV2. Anyone of any age with some sort of talent can audition for the show. Acts compete against each other in order to gain the audience support while trying to win the title of "The winner of Britain's Got Talent". Each year, on the morning of the first show of the new series, Britain's Got Talent has a special program titled "Most Talented", featuring interviews of the winners from the previous series and their progress since winning.

Throughout the show, contestants must perform in front of the judges, and each year initial auditions have been held in front of a live audience. Auditions precede live shows, where the final 40 contestants perform nightly for a week in order to impress the British public. There have been seven winners to date: Paul Potts, George Sampson, Diversity, Spelbound, Jai McDowall, Ashleigh and Pudsey and Attraction. The winner of each series is given the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of members of the British Royal Family, including Queen Elizabeth II. The winner also receives a cash prize, which from series 1 to 5 was £100,000, but was increased to £500,000 in series 6 and then lowered to £250,000 in series 7. Britain's Got Talent is known as one of Britain's biggest television talent competitions and has also proven popular throughout Europe. The series 3 live final brought in 17.3 million viewers,. On 18 October 2010, ITV announced that Cowell had signed a new three-year contract renewing Britain's Got Talent until 2013. He then announced on the final episode of Britain's Got More Talent in 2013 that he had renewed the show again until 2014.

"Britain's Got Talent" is a reality talent show hosted by Ant and Dec. Any sort of entertainment act is able to enter the competition and hopefully impress the judges and make it through to the final stages of the competition. The series winner's prize is £100,000 and the chance to perform at the "Royal Variety Show". The judges on the show are Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.

The Only Way Is Essex is a British BAFTA Award-winning structured reality television show based in Essex, England. It shows "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way." The show is filmed just a few days in advance. It is narrated by Denise van Outen, who is from Basildon, Essex. The show has been described by the Daily Mirror as Britain's answer to The Hills and Jersey Shore.

Series 1 ran initially for four weeks, and currently airs every Wednesday and Sunday at 10pm on ITV2. Series 2 began on 20 March 2011, once again airing every Wednesday and Sunday, but with longer episodes than series 1. Series 2 also saw the departure of original cast member Amy Childs. The second series consisted of 14 episodes, ending on 4 May 2011. On 22 May 2011, the series won the Audience Award at the 2011 BAFTA Awards. The show returned for a third series on 25 September 2011 and was the final series to feature two of the original cast members: Mark Wright, whose departure was seen in the series finale, and Kirk Norcross, who departed off screen like Childs. The third series ended on 9 November 2011. The second Christmas Special of The Only Way Is Essex aired on 20 December 2011.

The Only Way Is Essex is a reality series which follows some people living in Essex, including a club promoter, a would-be model, a member of a girl band and two bar workers. Each episode features action filmed just a few days previously.

The Voice is an American reality television singing competition broadcast on NBC. Based on the original The Voice of Holland, the concept of the series is to find new singing talent contested by aspiring singers, aged 15 or over, drawn from public auditions. The winner is determined by viewers by voting through telephone, Internet, SMS text, and iTunes Store purchases of artists' performances; they receive US$100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group. There have been four winners of the show to date: Javier Colon, Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope, and Danielle Bradbery.

The Voice began airing on April 26, 2011, as a spring TV season program. The show proved to be a hit for NBC and was subsequently expanded into the fall cycle when the third season premiered on September 10, 2012. The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artists' performances. Each coach guides their teams of selected artists through the remainder of the season. They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach. The original and current judging panel consists of Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. Shakira and Usher replaced Aguilera and Green during the fourth season, and are expected to return for the sixth season. The series is hosted by Carson Daly, with Christina Milian serving as a social media correspondent.

The show features four celebrity artists who will put together teams of singers who they’ll coach and mentor throughout the competition. Week by week, individuals will be eliminated until each celebrity has only one person on their team left to compete for the title of “The Voice of America”, in a live finale. Unlike American Idols’ lengthy audition process, the celebrity mentors will select their team members via a blind audition, so they’ll only be able to hear their voices. The show will have three stages of competition – the blind audition, a battle phase, and the live performance shows. Viewers will take part in the show by casting votes to help determine the finalists, who are competing for the grand prize – a recording contract.

Cops is an American documentary/reality legal series that follows police officers, constables, and sheriff's deputies during patrols and other police activities. It is one of the longest-running television programs in the United States and in May 2011 became the longest-running show on Fox with the announcement that America's Most Wanted was being canceled after 23 years. The first episode was broadcast in 1989.

Created by John Langley and Malcolm Barbour, it premiered on March 11, 1989, and is scheduled to air its 850th episode during the 2012-2013 season. It won the American Television Award in 1993 and has earned four Emmy nominations. COPS' 25th season began on December 15, 2012. The series is currently one of only two remaining first-run prime-time programs airing on Saturday nights on the four major U.S. broadcast television networks along with CBS's 48 Hours Mystery. When it expanded to show two episodes in the 8PM hour, it was called Primetime Cops in promos for several years.

Cops is broadcast by Fox, and follows the activities of police officers by embedding camera crews with police units. The show's formula follows the cinéma vérité convention, with no narration or scripted dialog, depending entirely on the commentary of the officers and on the actions of the people with whom they come into contact.
